Hi Maria! Tell us a bit about yourself and your role at Lendo in Spain?
My name is Maria, I’ve been living in Madrid for more than 15 years, but I’m from Galicia, northern Spain. I started working at Lendo at the end of September 2021, and I am responsible for Partners and Operations. In terms of my career, I have worked in B2B customer management for almost ten years in companies like Google, Publicis Groupe, and other fintech companies, etc. So it can be said that I enjoy talking to our partners daily and helping them achieve their goals and Lendo targets.
What made you decide to go to Lendo?
After working in different companies in the digital sector and managing the affiliation department at iAhorro, I decided to move to Lendo. One of the reasons that made me interested in Lendo, or at least the most important, is that Lendo has an innovative and transparent product within the consumer lending sector in Spain. I was also looking for new challenges and what better way than to move to a new company with a relevant product in the market. In addition, as I have a good knowledge of the Spanish financial market and its partners, I could bring my industry expertise to Lendo.
How many are you in the office, and could you tell us a bit about the team working in Lendo, Spain?
There are seven employees working in Lendo Spain, divided into Marketing, Product, Operations and Partners. We are like a small family, and we work together to make Lendo grow. We also have a great atmosphere where we work hard but never without a smile.
Tell us about something exciting that you are working on at the moment?
We are signing several new partners and working on their onboarding. In fact, we have a really promising pipeline for the end of 2022. 🙂
